We come to your home and provide a free written estimate customized to your situation. A heat gain and loss evaluation is completed so you get the correctly sized system for your space. Price depends on the size, efficiency ratings, and location of the new AC unit, and in most cases your written proposal is ready on the spot.
Qualifying products may be eligible for federal or state tax credits. Our team can point you toward current information based on your location and the system you choose.
ENERGY STAR is the government-backed symbol for energy efficiency. Choosing ENERGY STAR-rated equipment helps reduce your energy bills, lowers greenhouse gas emissions, and delivers reliable performance without sacrificing comfort.
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and measures the efficiency of your AC unit. The higher the SEER rating, the more energy efficient the system. All new systems installed in the United States must meet minimum SEER requirements set by the Department of Energy.
Regular maintenance goes a long way. Change your air filter monthly during heavy-use seasons, schedule a yearly tune-up, consider a programmable thermostat, and make sure your ductwork is properly sealed. A well-maintained system runs more efficiently and lasts longer.
R-22 systems have been phased out of production. Apple AC installs new systems using R-410A refrigerant, which is EPA-approved and does not deplete the ozone layer. If you have an older R-22 system, there is still recaptured refrigerant available for servicing existing equipment.
